Squamous non-small cell lung cancer

Squamous non-small cell lung cancer is a common form of lung carcinoma, which starts in squamous cells of the lungs (flat cells inside of the lungs’ airways). It’s more common in men than in women. They are often linked to a history of smoking and tend to be found in the central part of the lungs, near the bronchus.
