Description
Evidentic offers scientists analytical quantities of different production batches of drugs for research purposes. We purchase the original drugs at different time points, so it is our business model to offer products with long, short or even "negative shelf life". The variety of different batches is at the core of our value proposition for scientists performing comparability assays or batch-to-batch variation experiments.
In general, all products you find on our website are taken from the original medicinal container, i.e. a glass vial or a pre-filled syringe, and are aliquoted in a designated and GMP-licensed laboratory. Each aliquot, we refer to it as 'analytical reference medicinal product' or aRMP, is then stored at the recommended temperature (either 2-8°C or -80°C).
Note 1: The "therapeutic expiration date" shown on the product page does not refer to the shelf life of the aliquot. The expiry date is for your information only and refers to the expiry date for patient administration. However, our products are intended for research purposes only and must never be used on humans. To ensure the prolonged stability of our aliquots we store them at -86°C. Our products remain stable for many years under these storage conditions, even after the "expiry date" has been reached. All our products contain fully functional molecules/antibodies and can be used for any research experiment.
Note 2: A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) is an official document issued by the manufacturer of the medicinal product. It contains information on some critical quality characteristics of the medicine. CoA's are available only for some medicines and limited batches. Customers can order the medicinal product CoA together with the aliquots of the same batch. If you would like to purchase a CoA for a specific aliquot, please see the CoA product page.
Research-relevant quantities are available as licence-free consumable in aliquoted or diluted variant. Therapeutic monoclonal antibodies can be used by researchers for in vitro and in vivo experiments, biosimilar developers can order different batches at the time.
Aliquot: the original commercial therapeutic drug was aliquoted into 0,5 ml Eppendorf tubes. The therapeutic molecule is contained in the manufacuturers original buffer and at the orignal high concentration. No preservatives have been added.
